Newmont Mining had the difficult task of updating multiple ‘as designed’ SmartPlant Instrumentation databases created during the Boddington Gold Expansion Project. As such, IQ was tasked with the analysis of these plant specific databases to develop a scope for both the upgrade and amalgamation of this data. This will result in the creation of a single as-built SPI Database and the re-issue of associated deliverables.
IQ is currently preparing a ‘Proof of Concept’ proposal to carry out this work for an agreed plant unit.
