IQ at AusIMM International Women’s Day Lunch 2026

We recently had the opportunity to attend the AusIMM International Women’s Day event in Perth, alongside industry peers and colleagues from SGS and Independent Metallurgical Operations (IMO), celebrating this year’s theme: Driving Positive Change Together.

The keynote speaker, Jelena Dokic, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message, reminding us that self-worth comes from within—not from external validation. She spoke about the limiting nature of perfectionism and encouraged a shift in mindset towards growth rather than perfection.

Events like this play an important role in fostering open and meaningful conversations, while also providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues and peers across the industry. They serve as a reminder of the collective impact we can have when we work together to drive positive change.
