Braemar 2 Power Station – RAM Modelling

Information Quality supported Arrow Energy by delivering a structured Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) model to inform asset upgrade decisions at the Braemar 2 Power Station.

IQ developed a scalable modelling framework that translated engineering, operations and maintenance data into practical decision-support intelligence. The model enabled evaluation of system performance under varying scenarios, providing clarity around capacity, resilience and maintainability considerations during design development.

Aligned to recognised industry standards, the RAM model establishes a foundation that can evolve through execution and into operations — ensuring reliability targets are understood, measured and optimised across the asset lifecycle.

Value Delivered

  • Independent, data-driven support for design optimisation
  • Clear visibility of availability and performance drivers
  • Structured reliability framework aligned to lifecycle phases
  • Practical insight to strengthen operational resilience

IQ’s strength lies in connecting engineering detail with operational reality — transforming complex asset data into confident, risk-informed decisions that enhance long-term performance.
