Pro-Dat

Information Quality realised there was a requirement for a Project Based tool to gather, validate and compile Project Engineering Data. This assists with the successful management of engineering data and also the building of maintenance asset hierarchies.

It is certainly not seen as a replacement for engineering data warehouses, Smart Plant Foundation or Smart Plant Operator but a tool which provides the Owner Operator with the ability for compilation and verification of tag data.

A tag-centric, web based data repository, Pro-Dat is designed to make equipment data available to all stakeholders at all stages of a project. The intuitive interface allows simple navigation with data upload functionality for designers, suppliers, engineers and operators. Pro-Dat provides the perfect platform for Maintenance Hierarchy builds, data sharing between project sectors, and proves the integrity of the data to develop field personnel confidence through to final data handover.

The Tag to Document and Tag to Tag relationships which can be easily created in Pro-Dat are also able to be downloaded for simple import to the operator’s final toolset. This functionality, while providing exceptional information availability on site also allows the relationships to be proven and enhanced during construction and commissioning adding to user confidence at handover.

Pro-Dat has been developed over 6 years of project data manipulation and has been key to successful data management on a current WA Mega Project. Pro-Dat can be built to users specifications and requirements and to produce templates compliant with ISO 15926.
